About Me
Growing up in southern New Hampshire, Elizabeth (Liz) Pieroni's passion for art was deeply cultivated by family and community. She graduated with honors from the Maryland Institute College of Art, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts and explored a variety of mediums. Each medium served as a means to further express her ideas as a blossoming artist and set the stage for a lifelong pursuit of making art her career.
Liz has been honored to create several dresses entirely out of vegetables for the Montpelier Vermont Fashion Show. Additionally, she assisted with the Seeds of Hope Fashion Fundraiser for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Cancer Center in Manchester, NH. There she created a series of painted dresses for their Rock the Dress segment. Inspired most by her three children and their curiosity for the natural world, Liz creates abstract botanical paintings. In recent years she has become a member of SPACE gallery in Burlington, VT as well as the New Hampshire Arts Association. She has also shown her work in galleries, restaurants and other businesses throughout New Hampshire and Vermont. With her three inquisitive, creative and wild children in tow, her art is made in the margins of life.
